In May 2022 I had this same repair made at this facility which at the time was Myers Autoworld. Problem as I remember was a corroded terminal or connector. The problem diagnosis and repair that was made is on your computer system. I told the service department of the previous repair and it was looked up on the computer and verified. The cost of making the repair at that time was roughly $250.00. This time the problem was basically the same, corroded terminal or connector. The cost of making the repair this time was more than double the previous repair. With the knowledge of the previous repair and the similarity of the repair made this time I feel that I was highly overcharged for this repair. Total charge this repair $541.42. $6.00 for material, $25.00 misc. charge, 42 cents tax and $510.00 labor charge. This charge I feel was outrageous and is the reason I gave a rating of poor for your facility. I will not have any maintenance performed at your facility in the future nor will I recommend your facility to others.

I arrived for my service appointment 30 minutes early. I was greeted by my Service Tech instantly. He was very welcoming and friendly. We walked around my 2023 Canyon as he asked me if there have been any issues. I noticed the bay where I had parked was immaculate. He took my key fob and directed me to the waiting area, which was also very clean. Less than 40 minutes later, the service (oil, filter, tire rotation) was complete and my tech called for me and showed me the results of the routine inspection. He said my Canyon looks like new -- no problems identified. Overall, my experience was fast, friendly, and professional. I will highly recommend this dealership for service to my family and friends in the future. Great job... exactly what I expect from Ed Martin GMC and I will definitely be back for service, and another sale when I'm ready for my next GMC vehicle!

I went in for an oil change and also mentioned about a wind noise coming from both the driver and passenger side front windows. When my car was finished, the service advisor came out and told me the noise was coming from my tires??? That, of course, threw me off and kind of upset me because I can clearly hear it coming from my window. Then the Service Manager happened to be walking by. The service advisor had the manager talk to me about this issue. I said that my car only has 23,000 some miles on it, how could it be my tires? Then then he said my tires themselves are fine. I then asked what to do about this now, new to me, tire noise. Do you know what his response to me was? TURN UP MY RADIO. My appointment for my car was 3 weeks ago and I still think about that. That is why it has taken my so long to respond to this survey. I purchased my 2024 vehicle at another dealership and came to Ed Martin GMC because a family member highly recommended them to me. So, I left that appointment with the oil changed, a new to me tire issue, still have the wind noise, and quite frankly, ticked off.

I took my 2024 GMC Sierra in for a recall issue and an oil/filter change. When I got home, I checked my oil level and for leaks. Oil was dripping off my oil filter, and both the filter & filter side of the oil pan were wet with oil. I cleaned up the area but still didn't know if the filter seal was leaking or if it was just a sloppy job. It didn't drip any more after I cleaned it, but considering the amount of oil that was on the filter and pan, enough for a couple of drops to drip off the filter 8 hours after the job was completed, and after driving home where I immediately checked for leaks, I found it hard to believe that the tech could have been that sloppy. I had to bring it back and have the job filter/filter seal checked. I don't have time for this kind of nonsense. I don't really like changing my own oil but this is why that I usually do it myself. Just simply because this is the kind of experience that I have come to expect from dealership service departments.

I understand making a profit, that what business' do, but the exhaust issue wanting to charge me $677 for something I had fixed this morning in 1/2 hour for $177 tells me a lot about the price for the water pump and thermostat cost. You're not going to see me again for any service and not for a new vehicle either.

I brought my GMC Sierra in for a front end noise, oil change & tire rotation, and to have two tire pressure sensors batteries replaced. I get a call from the dealer saying my oil cooler line is leaking on both ends and needs replaced (never had a drop of oil on my garage floor), and that my rear shocks were leaking oil ( again never a drop of oil in my garage). Like a sucker, I agree to the repairs though I did not have a problem. When I picked up the vehicle, the two tire sensors that were working when I brought it in, were no longer working, and the batteries on the two faulty tires were not replaced! Same warning light was on. On my receipt, they indicated my front right tire was bad, (28 k miles on the tires) but when I measure the tread, it was the same and the others. Not sure if this was to sell something that I didn’t need. Maybe like the oil cooler line and shocks. When I ask about the sensors and why they were not changed, I was told it was a system problem, and I could bring it back tomorrow and they would get it back in. Obviously, my time is not important. Really makes me question if I had a problem in the first place? Needless to say, I am Extremely disappointed with this service call.

Fixed the issue, but it is the second time I have got in my car after a service and my car is a mess. 2 weeks ago had oil changed dirty grease marks on interior of car. Monday when I got back in my car door panel where they fixed the switch.....dirty. Let me explain my interior is CREAM. You can't help but see the dirty marks on cream interior. I paid extra to ceramic coat the inside of my car because of the color of the interior, shouldn't have to point out their mess. Do better service department!!!!

Car pulled a code to replace a vent solenoid. Before the gas tank was lowered the service department was already speculating a wiring issue and low and behold they found a wiring issue. Granted them approval to replace the wire and they said the vent solenoid was working so they put the gas tank back in place leaving the old part to fail down the road so when it does we can pay for them to drop the tank again and replace the part originally requested in the first place. FRAUD repairs do not make repeat customers. $739.00 wire repair, vent solenoid part only $26.79, so when that old one fails we can pay another $700 to lower the gas tank again. Thanks, we'll take our business somewhere else next time.

I come in regularly, every 6,000 miles, to have my oil changed and tires rotated. When I called to make the appointment, I also told the Service Department that I had a reminder through the MyChevrolet App that the Engine Air Filter was showing that I only had 5% life remaining. I was told that it would be checked out. I'm not thrilled with the new lady checking customers in, in the Service Department. She really doesn't act like she even knows anything about cars. After checking in, she came into the waiting room and said that my tires were low. Which I thought was strange, because my tire pressure warning had not come on and was not showing low pressure in any of the tires. NO, she wasn't was talking about tire pressure, she tried selling me a new set of tires!!! But, said Nothing about the engine air filter that I had asked them to check when making the appointment. As I mentioned, I come regularly to have my oil changed... and was shocked, the drastic jump in priced. I asked it it was for the engine air filter and was told yes. When I got home, I looked at the receipt and at MyChevrolet phone App again. I called back to ask again about the charges, because the notification on my phone was still showing that I only had 5% life remaining on the engine air filter. The lady from the office went back to the service department to find out what work was actually done. She came back to the phone and said the engine air filter was not changed, and that it was a cost increase on the oil filter. REALLY! No one offered to let me (or any customers) know of this drastic increase, and the additional amount, what I feel, was hidden under a filter charge (which I thought was the engine air filter above), instead of it being included in the top line of Oil Change charge. I think this is very shady and feel the service of this dealership has gone WAY down since Ed Martin took over. Unless something changes, I will consider taking my car to another location to have my routine service handled.

I texted him and told him I was interested in an Equinox because several of my friends and my daughter at one time owned an Equinox. He asked me what I was looking for in a car. I told him what I was looking for and he told me that I might look at the GMC Terrain also, because it was like the Equinox but a little nicer. I did my own homework checking on both of them side by side and I decided the Terrain was more of what I wanted. Of all the salesman I have ever dealt through the years, Nate was the best. He was very thorough and took the time to sit in the Terrain with my daughter and I and explained everything in the car. I was very impressed.
