Buick Driver Confidence is a suite of six advanced safety and driver-assistance features that comes standard on every trim of the 2026 Encore GX and Envista. The 2026 Envision and Enclave list their safety equipment separately and include more standard features in several areas.

What Buick Driver Confidence Includes

The 2026 Encore GX and Envista include these six features in the Buick Driver Confidence suite:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Front Pedestrian Braking
  • Forward Collision Alert
  • Following Distance Indicator
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • IntelliBeam Auto High Beams

The suite is standard on Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir trims of both models. On the 2026 Buick Encore GX, that includes front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. There is no separate Driver Confidence package to add.

On the 2026 Encore GX Avenir, the Avenir Technology Package requires the Avenir Convenience Package and includes HD Surround Vision. Encore GX Preferred and Sport Touring trims get HD Surround Vision through the Advanced Technology Package.

Teen Driver lets you link customizable vehicle settings to a key fob to help encourage safe driving. It can limit some available features. It also prevents certain safety systems from being turned off and provides an in-vehicle report card on driving habits.

Buckle to Drive keeps the vehicle from shifting out of Park until the driver's seat belt is fastened.

Safety and driver-assistance features are no substitute for the driver's responsibility to drive safely.

Standard Safety on the 2026 Envision and Enclave

Although Buick does not use the Driver Confidence name on the 2026 Envision or Enclave, both include more standard safety features than the six-feature suite.

In addition to the features in the table, both models include the following as standard on every trim:

  • HD Surround Vision
  • Rear Pedestrian Alert
  • Reverse Automatic Braking
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Safety Alert Seat

Every 2026 Envision trim also includes a Head-Up Display. It projects information such as speed, available navigation and Forward Collision Alert onto the windshield to help you keep your eyes on the road.

Buick's safety highlights for the 2026 Enclave include six features:

  • Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking
  • Blind Zone Steering Assist

  • Side Bicyclist Alert
  • Available Super Cruise

The first five features are standard on every Enclave trim. The Super Cruise Package is available on all three trims and includes Super Cruise, Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist and Driver Attention Assist. With this package, Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist replaces the standard Rear Park Assist.

The Enclave Avenir includes a Head-Up Display. The other two trims get one with the Power Package.
