2027 GMC Terrain: Elevation, AT4 and Denali Trims and Prices

The 2027 GMC Terrain is a two-row compact SUV that seats five, and all three trims use the same 175-horsepower 1.5L turbo with an 8-speed automatic. At launch, the Elevation started at $30,700 MSRP, the AT4 at $39,400 and the Denali at $42,200. For shoppers here in Central Indiana, the shared powertrain makes the trim choice about drivetrain, off-road hardware and comfort rather than power.

The Elevation is the only trim offered with front-wheel drive. The AT4 is the Terrain set up for driving off the pavement, and the Denali carries the most comfort and camera technology as standard. To see what's on our lot, search our new vehicle inventory.

Front-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive

Front-wheel drive is the Elevation's alone, so a front-wheel-drive Elevation is the 2027 Terrain to pick if fuel economy matters most. The Elevation can also have all-wheel drive, and the AT4 and Denali always do.

Off-Road Hardware and Towing

The 2027 Terrain AT4 carries the off-road hardware: its skid plate, all-terrain tires and off-road-tuned suspension. The AT4 and Denali both ride higher than the Elevation, with 6.52 inches of minimum ground clearance to the Elevation's 5.75 inches. If you plan to tow, the AT4 and Denali are the trims that include the Trailering Package.

Comfort and Camera Technology

The 2027 Terrain Denali comes standard with ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats and HD Surround Vision. On the Elevation and AT4, those features come in optional packages, so compare a well-equipped Elevation or AT4 with a Denali before you decide.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

If you need more than five seats or want to tow more than a small trailer, the 2027 Terrain isn't the right fit. The larger, three-row GMC Acadia is the GMC to look at instead.
